Day-by-day itinerary
Day 15 to 6 h walking1 650 → 2 200 → 1 800 m
Marrakech → Agerssioual → Matat → Tizi Oudid → Id Aïssa
Morning transfer to Agerssioual (1,650 m), then trek to Matat village (1,700 m) through Berber villages and terraces. Climb to Tizi Oudid pass (2,200 m), lunch in the mountains, then descend to Id Aïssa (1,800 m). Overnight in a traditional Berber guesthouse.
Day 26 to 7 h walking1 800 → 2 489 → 1 740 m
Id Aïssa → Tizi Oussem → Tizi Mzik → Imlil → Marrakech
After breakfast, trek to Tizi Oussem (1,850 m) in the beautiful Azzaden valley, then climb to Tizi Mzik pass (2,489 m), the highest point of the trek. Lunch in the mountains, descent to Imlil (1,740 m) and transfer back to Marrakech.
